Carping 4 Causes Fundraiser
Avid Carp were proud to support RH Fisheries' Charity Event supporting Carping 4 Causes (C4C) raising money for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The event was held at The Monument Fishery, with anglers fishing every peg on the complex in a match. Their contributions, along with a raffle and other donations raised over £5000, during an amazing session in great company with over 60 fish landed up to 36lb 08oz!
Avid's own Jamie Simpson and Mat Woods enjoyed the event and brought along some great prizes.
"Hats off to Rob, Alex, Tom and the rest of the RH Fisheries crew for putting on such a great match," says Mat. "It's a great cause and the guys from the Carping 4 Causes charity are doing great work. Every person involved in organising the event, or donating towards the final tally should be proud of themselves. There were some amazing carp caught, too, which always helps!"
Biggest fish went to Luke Edwards and biggest combined weight went to Chris Caddick who bagged an amazing 217lb 02oz! A massive well done and huge thanks to everyone involved with some extremely generous donations and support! Can't wait to see you all next year!
