Peter Nys has fished some of the most demanding venues in the world during his hunt for large carp. He’s currently targeting a 200-acre Belgian lake containing 250 carp, but has fished much smaller lakes in the past, as well as inland seas, rivers and canals. He’s an extremely versatile angler, with the ability to quickly change and adapt his approach to suit the venue he’s fishing.
He tries to spend as much time as he can carp fishing abroad and has spent time on some of Europe’s most famous venues, including Lac de Madine, the River Mossell and The Saone. He’s even targeted the St Lawrence in Canada on his quest to catch large, wild carp.
