Ian is a qualified angling coach and one of the country's elite carp anglers. He's a regular face in all major UK carp magazines and widely regarded as the country's top day ticket fishery expert.

He's the twice Total Carp magazine Battlecarp match winner, a Carp Wars winner with Crafty Carper magazine, the 1999/2000 Daiwa Masters winner and a regular British Carp Angling Championships finalist.

He's caught eight 40lb+ carp in the UK, and had over 100 English 30-pounders. He's a regular face on Sky TV and Online TV fishing programmes, and has over 13 years experience writing for all major UK carp titles. In short, one of the best carpers in Great Britain - if not THE best.
