Spring is finally here! With the cold weather well and truly behind us and lakes up and down the country starting to switch on, it’s time to get out on the bank for the most productive time of the year.
Whether you’re fishing for your first double or targeting a forty, it’s a great time to be fishing. As the days get longer and nature starts to flourish again, the carp become more active and are often very catchable.
This year, rather than targeting one particular venue, I’ve decided to keep my options open and flit around the venues run by Rob Hales. As you can imagine, it’s a busy time of the year for us at Avid HQ. We’ve recently launched a whole new carp care range and two new brollies. The products have gone down a storm and the feedback from anglers across the UK and Europe has been incredible. We’re currently in the final stages of development on a variety of new products that we’re sure you’re going to love. Without giving too much away, expect more great terminal tackle bits, hooklinks, main line, clothing and a new spod.
If you want to be the first to see all our latest products, we're going to be holding lots of open days at tackle shops across the UK. We’ll be demonstrating all our latest gear, and our consultants will be on hand to answer any of your carp fishing queries.
Like last year, we’re going to be releasing another free DVD full of hints, tips and product information. We’ll also be launching our own online TV channel that will be regularly updated with video footage. Over the next few months we’re going to be filming on a variety of venues across the UK.
