Christian Keßler is Germany's brightest young carp star and is a low-stock water expert.

The versatile 23-year-old is used to chasing dark, old carp around difficult waters but is just at home visiting busy day ticket lakes here in the UK. He's a regular visitor to the Yateley complex during the winter months, using his mobile tactics to snare some awesome fish. Chris is a bit of a rig expert and loves imitation baits, fluoro pop-ups and small particle baits. This style of fishing is a huge edge for him in Germany and he's a true trend-setter, utilizing unique PVA methods that enable him to locate the fish, and be confident of a bite every single time.

"I am not the typical carp angler who fishes over a spot for weeks on end. I like to track down the carp and try to catch them on sticks, single hookbaits and bag presentations. If I can watch the fish, I will set a trap for them. The Avid Carp range suits this style of fishing, and meets my very high standards.
