Yuri is an extremely talented Dutch carp angler who loves to target large, pressured carp.

Although he enjoys fishing the Dutch lakes and canals close to his home, he gets a buzz out of competing against other anglers on busy, commercial venues in France. Yuri likes his fishing to be challenging so he tends to target difficult venues that involve lots of time, patience and preparation. 

Like lots of carp anglers, Yuri has work and family commitments so most of his fishing consists of quick overnighters and day sessions. He’s a short session expert and his watercraft is second to none. Regardless of where he is fishing, Yuri has a habit of catching the venue’s largest residents extremely quickly.
